Constructed in 1741, Cağaloğlu Hamam is the last bath to be built during the Ottoman Empire after a long time. In order to generate an income for the Sultan Mahmut Library located in the Hagia Sophia Mosque, in Istanbul, Eminönü, Alemdar, Prof. It was built as a double public bath on Kazım İsmail Gürkan Street.
